It is shown in our visual below that 5 PERCENT of Americans are diagnosed every year for Seasonal Affective Disorder! On top of that another 10-20 PERCENT of people experience winter blues!
So what is seasonal affective disorder? It is defined as depression associated with late autumn and winter and thought to be caused by a lack of light.
Symptoms of Seasonal Affective Disorder:
- Feeling Depressed
- Losing interest in activities
- Low energy
- Problems Sleeping
- Changes in appetite
- Feeling Sluggish
- Difficulty Concentrating

On this episode we talk about our experiences with SAD and how it affects us during these long dark winter days. We give some first hand knowledge of what it takes to get out of it and how you can counter SAD!
